Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made voluntarily by McCulloch Regulatory Compliance (“MRC”). MRC is a sole trader established in the United Kingdom. Its annual turnover is below the threshold in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, so MRC is not required to publish a statement. It publishes this one to set out its position and its expectations of those it works with.

Our business

MRC provides regulatory compliance advisory services to organisations in the life sciences, technology, food and cosmetics, and related sectors. The work is professional and advisory in nature and is carried out directly by the principal, with specialist support engaged occasionally. MRC does not manufacture, import, or distribute goods.

Our supply chain

MRC’s supply chain is short and consists of professional and digital services: software and hosting subscriptions, professional indemnity and business insurance, banking and payment services, and, from time to time, subcontracted specialists engaged directly on the basis of their professional standing. The nature of these relationships presents a low inherent risk of modern slavery or human trafficking.

Our commitment

MRC does not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in any part of its business or supply chain. MRC is committed to acting ethically, with integrity, and in compliance with all applicable laws in every engagement.

Due diligence and expectations

MRC selects its suppliers and any subcontractors on the basis of their reputation and professional standing, and would not knowingly engage a party involved in modern slavery or human trafficking. MRC expects those it works with to uphold the same standards and to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent legislation in the territories in which they operate.

Assessment and review

Given the size of the business and the low-risk profile of its supply chain, MRC keeps its arrangements under proportionate review rather than operating a formal risk-assessment programme. MRC will strengthen its procedures as the business grows and its supply chain expands.
